Do I need to learn how to play college football?  If I am a quarterback, do I need specific quarterback footwork drills; do I need something more than a few quarterback tips?  Exactly what does it take to have an opportunity to land football scholarships in America?

And, probably more to the point, what are the precise steps for getting recruited for college football and getting your  hands on one of those highly prized and very lucrative college football scholarships?  Well, while there are similarities, recruiting for football is a little different than recruiting for other sports.

It Takes Talent

First, obviously, it does take talent, but let’s be clear, you do NOT have to be an ‘ELITE’ or ‘BLUE CHIP’ athlete to play college football on scholarship and get all or part of your college expenses paid for.
